 Meeting a friend from out of town later this week who has lost a lot of weight this last year, and has, in significant ways, inspired me to start this journey.   Looking forward to hearing his story, as I haven't seen him in a couple years.

I catch myself eating things I too much of, and trying to stop when I realized it will be too much.  There is a whole mind set change I need to undertake for this, that will probably be the most difficult.

 After seeing a FB friend lose weight this last year, I wan to take a look at my options.  I've always thought this was something I could deal with by myself, but after years of false starts, and denial, maybe I should look at another path.

The thing is... I don't define my self, or my lifestyle by the way I look.  I do what I want with the kids, and my family is fairly active.  I don't feel like my obesity is holding me back from anything.

But I would hate to have problems further down the line.

So I will read the stories hear, and talk with my wife, and start thinking seriously about this.
