Mini Goal 5 Update

Greetings!
So here  we are June 2, and I'm happy to report that I have hit my next mini goal. My mini goal was to have hit 138 and to be walking 4 x's per week. I'm now 136 woohoo and walking 4 times per week, 2.5 miles a day and jogging 4 flights of stairs 6 x's up and down!!!!!!!! so just 6 more pounds to go, until i've reached my GOAL weight of 130! I hope to have hit 130 by my re-birth date in July. So just 5 weeks to go.... Let me say I won;t be discouraged if I don't as i have come a very long way since day 1 of 254 pounds!

Mini goal #6
Hit 130 pounds by July 13th.

Mini Goal #3 & 4 Update

Greetings!
This update is so overdue, my mini goal #3 was to hit 142 by 2/13/10. I've hit 141, but it took a bit longer than that February 13th. I'm feeling great, and I have hit my mini goal #4 by walking 3 times pere week. I'm feeling great and so happy I had WLS< there's not anything that I feel I can't do. 

Mini Goal #5
5/1/10 get down to 138, woohoo 130's
Pick up the pace of walking to 4 x's per week.

Let's do this!!!!!!

Mini Goal #2 Update

Greeting to ALL in OH Land!
Here we go...... Yesterday was the 6 month anniversary if my rebirth 1/13/10. First of all I want to say I feel great, and I've been rediscovering that i actual have some mojo left..... IT must have been hiding under all the weight! Unfortunately, i did not hit mini goal #2, which was to be down to 145, I actually went up 1.8 to 148.8. I think a lot of it has to do with retaining water and the fact that I need to step up my goal as it gets harder to get rid of the weight, the closer you get to goal. Time to step up the game and bring the BIG guns out!

As much as i would have loved to hit my mini goal #2, I'm so proud of where I am and how well I'm doing. I started out at 254 and size 24, I'm now at 148.8 and a comfortable size 10. It's been many years, since I gotten my behind in a 10.

Mini Goal #3: Hit 142 by 2/13/10
Mini Goal #4: Exercise a minimum of 3 x's a week, have slacked off since I've been working the last 3 months (just so darned tired)

Remember we all want to "GET RID" of the weight and not lose it. i know i never want to find it again.

Mini Goal #1 update

Hello all!!!! Happy New Year! So as promised, i'm updating you on my first mini goal to be at 149 by 12/31/09. I'm really happy to report that I was at 148 the morning of the 31st. My interenet has been down and I was unable to access my account sooner. So my next mini goal is to be at 145 on my 6 month anniversary of my rebirth, which is 1/13/10. I just wish the weight was still melting off, but we all know it has to slow down at some point. gggrrrrrr. Stay tuned!

I HIT my 100 POUNDS WOOHOO

Greetings!
I'm happy to report that I hit my 100 pounds gone "gotten rid of" not LOST. You may ask yourself, why does she refer to it as gotten rid of instead of losing the weight.... The answer is simple when you lose anything, it can always be FOUND again, however, when you get rid of it....it GONE forever! I encourage everyone to get rid of the pounds and not too loose them...I don't believe that anyone on this awesome support site wants to ever, ever, ever find that pesky pest we call "weight aka obesity". One of my new friends on here asks why don't I update my blogs more often? I do apologize for my short comings, but I'm crazy busy with work, being a mom and beating off all the men with a stick (just kidding) lol. It's so crazy to think that in 5 months and 6 days, I have gotten rid of 100 POUNDS!!!! I'm 24 pounds away from my goal, and i can't wait to see the scale hit 130......woohoo! For anyone that may be experiencing longer than normal plateaus, especially as you get closer to your goal... Go back to the basics, meaning nothing but liquid protein 3 times a day with plenty of water and it will jump start the weight drop again. Both my girlfriend Leanne (also on the OH) and I did that and what do you know....we're both starting dropping  again.
Future mini goals:  Down to 149 by 12/31 and down to 145 by 1/10/10 (my 6 month anniversary following my rebirth.

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday. I promise to check in on 12/31 to give my updated "stats" on my mini goal
