I shall say a prayer for you, I know it maybe at times to be strong, but hold strong, you know if you need him he will carry this for you ,trust and believe and keep the faith. You may slow down in your weight loss but you can say you are not that some person, you were before you strated.

The good thing is even though you will be 'hungry as a hog' you wont be able to eat too much. If you do you will feel even worse and not want to eat for days (or at least that is what happens to me if I eat a bite more than my stomach likes). So like you said.. you will be ok. My weight is coming off slower than I like.. but hey.. it is coming off. As for your mom... I was always taguht that you give an individual their flowers while they are here... Which also equates you do what you can do when you can do it. This wont diminish your love for your mom and she knows that. I pray that God will hold and keep you both and that you are physically and mentally prepared to travel to Michigan if you have to. Take care. I am here if you ever need anything.

Keep the Faith and god will bring you through.......The next time you are in Michigan drop me a line. God is able. I lost my mom almost 4 years ago but I thank god for the 33 years I had her. Be blessed.

Hello Kim, my prayers are with you during these trying times. I have Muscular Dystrophy and understand how hard it is when the fatigue and other problems that go along with those Neuromuscular Diseases hit. Just keep what your doing...take the Prednisone, watch what you eat, and you'll be fine. So you don't make your goal when you originally wanted too...it's not going anywhere. You'll do it. These kickbacks sure how hard to cope with, but the good thing is that we are strong enough and know we can! :) Where in Michigan does your mother live? I'm from Saginaw. An update on me...I survived my RNY Gastric Bypass on Oct.1st and am down 12 pounds. If I only could use some of this "GAS" for fuel our vehicle! We'd be doing alot of traveling that's for sure.
