Surgeon Testimonial

Peter Frederick Crookes M.D., F.R.C.S., F.A.C.S.
First met Dr Crookes in January of 2007 at the USC seminars. Knew instantly he was the Doctor for me. a no nonesense approach who demanded his patients know what they want and why they want it. You need to be fully aware of your responibilties and the risk. You can not be in better in hand than Dr Crookes, hes amazing. The hospital staff was great the PACE people make sure you are well informed and USC even has a support group that meets ever month that is run by the RN and dietician from the bariatric dept. His staff(ESPI) even got my insurance to pay for my VSG, which is pretty rare these days. You will be very pleased you chose USC and Dr Crookes, he saved my life

It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. 8 Months and Carbs
posted on 2/4/09 7:01 pm
8 months out still can't find a down side to this journey. Life is great family friends and neighborsare all amazed and supportive of the results.

There is one thing that keeps kicking my ass and holding me back CARBS !! The more i eat the harder it is to keep the scale moving downward. When I cut back the pounds drop fairly quickly but its like crack. One I tried them I can't kick them.
Stay away from the Carbs once you start back its like starting all over with breaking their grip on you.

F YOU CARBS !!!
