Hi I met Dr.Quinlin at a seminar.I was very impressed with him.He is very professional ( SHHHH don't tell anyone I said this he's good looking too)I then had a meeting with him. We talked about the surgery.I'm very impressed with his back ground in this field.I'm glad I picked him.His office has nice big chairs.His staff was professional.They made me feel good to be there.I did my research on the internet but i have to say meeting him and talking with him only left me know in my heart I have picked the best doctor.

~~~~~~CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR UPCOMING SURGERY~~~~~~ (Everything in our lives happens for a purpose and that purpose is to prepare us) May God give you courage, strength and guidance throughout your new journey. You are about to embark on the most amazing transformation of you mind, body and soul. Your big day is almost here, this is the day, your new life will begin, I cant promise it will be easy, cant say it will be hard, I can say that with all the complications and everything I had to go through, It was well worth it. I have never felt better in years, I’m off all medications, have sooooo much more energy. So if you hit a bump in the road, hang in there and remember it will all be worth it in the long run. Sending Prayers your way that the Lord will guide your surgeon’s hands. May the guardian angels wrap their loving arms of protection around you during your surgery and recovery . I haven't posted in awhile. I had so many issues with my surgery.  I have had trouble with my liver enzines being high.Had all kinds of test done. Also to add salt to the injury I have kidney stones. I have many days i wish I hadn't had the  lap rny .My weight loss is slow. I have lost 86 lbs but it's been over a year. I know people who lost that in 4 months. So it has depressed me. I have been so faithfull in getting my protein and water in. I also go to curves. I am wondering now if I pick the right surgery for my body. Dr. Quinlin did a  upper GI . I have a cat scan on my liver. PCP doctor said its from the lipator. I have ask myself many times would I do this again. I would have pick the ds. I see Dr. Quinlin on the 17 of November and I am going to bring up a revision. I hope my insurance will pay for it. I have tried to change my picture on her to an updated one but it didnt work. I had a friend tell me to go to Google and type in my name,then click on Images and search.WOW!!! I was shocked. My profile this one right here is on the search page.it will show a picture of me and if you click on the picture it brings up this profile.I was not aware of this at all.had I known I would of picked a better picture to post of me.LOL I'm not to smart when it comes to the computer. Oh well just thought i would let you all know this .
 I'm going threw hot flashes terrible.It is like someone set me on fire and then i get cold.I hate this. I see the doctor on Monday and I am going to ask him what the heck is going on.I'm sweating bullets here!! LOL My mind still wonders at time if I did the right thing. I'm starting to like the changes I see. i guess it takes time for our brain to catch up with the loss. when I had this done I said I wouldnt have plastics but more and more I'm leaning towards getting it done.I will see in Aug. 10.  I want to get rid of my bat wings and gut .... Life in general is really good for me.I am working more now.I started my new  bussiness. My meditation classes are expanding.God has blessed me  and I am so greatful . I'm planning my vacation in June.Hope by then I look great in my swim suit.... I like the attention I get from the men...all the cat calls hahahaha...I turn and give a smile...             Hugs Kay

My Story

Hi ,My name is Kay . I'm retired form the County Court House. I retired with 26 years. I'm also a wedding Planner. I also teach Meditation classes. I 'm married 37 years. I have 2 sons and 4 grand kids. I'm raising them. Caitlyn and Emily 6 years old and Bradley 8 and Ethan 16.We live in Pennsylvania like most of you have the same story dieted all my life. I had lap RNY on Aug.10 2006. I have lost pretty good and I had times I gained, which depressed me and so i had the scale removed from my house. I need to get apple Pie add my onderland ,on to my profile. I finally lost the 3 lbs i need to get it. Ok I like Keith Urban. I love making Memories Of Us. I also like Kenny Chesney. My favorite music is Country, Christian and Christmas. I have a Maltese .her name is Tess, she is my baby. My favorite movie is I Remember Momma. As Good As It Gets...Home Alone. My favorite blog topic is NO SLAM HOGS !! I hang out on Yahoo, love to play Mahjong .I guess this is good enough. Hugs ~Kay

 

 


I want to explain the pictures on here.These were taked when I was on richard Simmons Video.I took lots of pictures of me when I was thin,Now that I have gained I don't take pictures of me,These picture enspire me to look this good a gain and be healty,I need to remember how hard it was to look like this.With surgery i will be better . I want to have the lap band in hopes it will help my back pain an my depression.To feel good about myself.
