My Weight Loss Journey, come along for the ride.....

Been a while!  I've been stagnant in my weight loss for about 4 months now.  I'm not all that upset about it but I will be striving to lose more.  Down 111 lbs. so far...can't complain.  I hardly ever come to this site anymore, life has gotten so busy.  I really want to join a gym.  That is my next endeavor.  My lifestyle is so much more active but I think picking up with the exercise is going to give me that boost I need to continue with my weightloss.  Anyway, the bottom line is I am so glad and have never regretted getting WLS.  I recommend the lapband to anyone who is struggling with their weight.  It's a long, hard journey but it's so worth it!

Sorry it's been so long!  I have been sooo busy.  I started school in November and it's been a crazy trip since then.  I'm on a short break so I decided to update.  I remember how reading people's profile's helped in the beginning of my journey so I thinkit's important to take the time to update mine.  To date I have lost 94 pounds.  I am really happy about it!  Six more pounds to be a member of the century club.  I NEVER thought I would be here.  My last fill has been really good.  I have good restriction byut not so bad that everything I eat hurts like the one I had before.  Besides that, everything else is the same. Monica, thanks for keeping in contact, I really do get your messages, I am just so unbelievably busy, even at work which is where I did much of my updating.  Anyway, I guess that's it for now!!  Blessings to you all!

Ummm...did I say that I wanted a small unfill?  I didn't mean it really...please put it back!  Even though the amount they took out was so small, I can eat EVERYTHING very easily!  I will give myself a pat on the back for eating right though these past few days.  Even will TOM here I did pretty good.  Actually, I was down another pound this morning.  I go back in 2 months which seems so long but if I feel I am not doing well, I'll call to try to reschedule.  Anyway, that's all for now.  Tomorrow is Monday and we're anticipating yet another large snowstorm here in NH so that means I won't be going to work tomorrow.  It also means that I am going to be having to be strong because snowstorms make me want to eat!  Wish me luck!

Happy New Year!!!!  Last year was certainly really good in many ways!!  My band friend Monica has insisted I update so here goes!  As I wrote previously, this last fill was crazy tight!  I probably should have had a little taken out but it did me good for the holidays...no weight gain!!  I go again on Monday and I may have the doctor take a very small amount out, like a .1 or something.  I went from having my iced coffee every morning to changing to a hot coffee because cold wouldn't go down and now even hot coffee feels really uncomfortable to drink in the morning.  Actually, drinking at all stinks, I don't look forward to drinking liquids, but I have to.  I'm down 81 lbs. now.  It's funny, that doesn't sound like a lot when I apply it to myself but I do know it is alot.  I have a way to go and I'm looking forward to seeing where this road leads.

All I can say is, this last fill has kicked my butt!  I have lost 5 lbs. in the past 4 days.  If it doesn't losen up in the next weeek or so, I'm going to have to call the doctor for a small unfill.  I can't really eat anything, especially anything cold and all my food gets cold because I eat so slow.  I'm really thankful I haven't had any PB episodes since surgery 9 months ago but if it is going to happen, now would be that time because I am so tight.  I am now 3 lbs. away from my second mini goal.  By this time next week, I ma certain I will be there.  I'm soooooo happy about that.  Anyway, I'm real happy with the way things are going.  In the beginning I thought it wasn't going to happen, but this thing really does help. Until next time, all!

My Story

Like most everybody on this website, I am here to give my experience and testimony of my weight loss journey. I want to start this journal out by saying that, the first and most important testimony I want to share with you is the testimony that Jesus Christ has saved me from sin, death and hell (and from myself I may add) and He can do the same to anyone who truly wants it. I am also here to share with you the transformation of my body. I am so excited to go through it and share it with others, but true transformation begins in the heart through a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Everything else is vanity. I thank you for taking the time to share with me my journey. May God richly bless you all!!
