6 weeks to go until my surgery and I am having alot of mixed feelings about what to expect. I'm nervous and I am not sure how my body is going to take to this new lifestyle. I would love to talk to some people who have already gone through this to maybe get some tips on how to do things the right way. I am a single mother and my kids require alot of my attention and energy and I'm worried about being sick and not having the energy I need to take care of them.****HELP***

3 Months Post-Op

Well it has been a rough 3 months after my surgery. I have been really sensitive to alot of foods other people are able to eat. I have been throwing up alot and it has been frustrating. However I have lost 50 lbs already and I look alot better. My energy level is not great and I am taking my vitamins so hopefully things will change soon for me.

2 WEEKS TO GO!!!!!!!!!!

WOW SO HERE I AM JUST TWO WEEKS AWAY FROM MY SURGERY AND IM NERVOUS BUT EXCITED. MY INSURANCE APPROVED MY SURGERY AND IM ALL READY TO GO! I HAVE  TWO APPOINTMENTS THIS WEEK TO MEET WITH DR. MORTON AND JUST GO OVER ALL THAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN. CROSS YOUR FINGERS FOR ME

Welcome,

I am so excited about my upcoming surgery and a chance do begin to LIVE!!! I am a single mother of three great kids and I have had weight issues for the past 15 years. Growing up I was chuncky but never Obese. The weight came on after having back to back babies and along with a very abusive marriage. My goals are to lower my weight and start a new Life!
