My name is Gretchen and I'm the mom of two beautiful girls, ages 5 and 9.  I've been overweight my entire life.  If I don't get this surgery I will be die soon.  I know it.  I want to be able to see my kids grow up and be able to play with them.  I'm fighting with my insurance company because my employer doesn't carry the rider.  So frustrating.  I'm hoping to find some other folks on here that have gone through the same thing and maybe can give me some advise, etc.  Thanks for reading!

New to Me!

This is all new to me, so I hope people will hang in there and hopefully I'll make some progress in navigating this site and figuring it all out.  Really excited to meet some new people and get tips on battling insurance.  Well, that's it for my first official "blog."  Not too exciting.  Sorry....lol.
