Surgeon Testimonial

D. Blaine Nease, M.D. F.A.C.S.
My first impression of Dr. Nease was, "Gosh, he's so young, younger than me and I'm 37" But after I went to his seminar, I knew that I wanted Dr. Nease to perform my surgery. He is down to earth, and seems to really care about his patients. His staff is so informative and takes the time to answer all of my questions, even when I call several times a day.
Dr. Nease has discussed the pros and cons of the RNY surgery and has been totally upfront.
His office just sent the insurance the packet for the approval, so within a few weeks I should know something for sure.
I will keep you updated on Dr. Nease after my surgery.

The above message was written in Sept. 2002. I'm 3 1/2 years post op and I am very satisfied w/ Dr. Nease and his crew. I still will email them about any concerns and they still remember me (even though he has had over 500 patients from several states) and will always answer my questions. I owe Dr. Nease for saving my life. I have lost a total of approximately 150 pounds and I feel great. THANK YOU DOCTOR NEASE!!!!!

Good luck on your coming surgery. My prayers are with you, and hoping for an uneventful surgery, and a speedy, painfree recovery. Keep your focus on healing. Make sure you walk, and keep up your breathing exercise. YOU CAN DO THIS! See you on the other side.
