G, Have the Greatest Ever on the 19th!! It’s good to see more guys out here on Obesity Help. We make up a small minority of the people having Weight Loss Surgery, but tend to lose down quicker and with fewer hassles than the women due to Male Physiology. Drop by the "Men's Message Board" at- http://www.obesityhe lp.com/forums/men/ -to see how other Guys are doing with their surgeries. A lot of info and advice specifically tailored to Men. I’m just dropping by to let you know that there’s a huge crowd of strangers out here pulling for you and holding you in our prayers. Damn that's SALTY!!!

So I get a call from an Ohio number and I automatically knew who it was. It was the lady from Barix Clincs...I thought she was calling me to tell when I had to be there for surgery. Of course I was wrong, but she was like I have some bad news for you. "Dr. Boe is out due to a medical emergency and won't be back for a couple of weeks." I'm ahhh wow, okay. So she asked me when I could have it done, and the earliest I can have done is May 5th because school ends on May 2nd. But I would have to do the pre-op again which is 2 weeks before the surgery. I can't miss another day of school again, so now surgery is May 19th a couple days after graduation and the pre-op is May 5th. Who knows though, if I keep losing weight like this I might not need it. In total I lost 24 pounds....So who knows.. Ah well things happens for a reason. Maybe it's a sign, we shall find out!!

6 More days!!!!!!

Damn time is going by fast!! Just 6 more days....I'm getting excited!! The "clear liquid" diet is going good. I cheated the first 2 days, the first day I had like 7 crackers, and the second day I had 6 chicken fries and a med vanilla milkshake from BK...LOL.. I felt bad... While in the drive-thru I was saying "don't do this, don't do this" and then I ordered my food. lol.. But I made a promise to myself that I wouldn't stray off the diet anymore and I haven't!!

. So I'm on the 4th day of the diet and feeling good in a way. I started lifting weights again since I won't be able to do it after the surgery!!! You can see the results in the pics that I put up.. I'm trying to get that "bowflex body" lol. Oh yeah how could I forget, I lost 10 pounds since starting the diet... I don't know if the scale is lying to me or not. Imma have to get on other scales to make sure that is correct!! Im outty!!

The Countdown Begins!!!

Soooooo I started my "Clear Liquid Diet" yesterday (March 7th) which I have to do for 10 days!!! Seriously I don't know how I'm going to get through it... It's crazy, all I can eat and drink is water, Isopure, Broth, Jello, and Popsciles... Oh and how could I forget my Centrum Chewables. The Centrums was suppose to be sugar free, but I can't find them anywhere... Oh well. But anywho, so I started my diet yesterday and at first it was going good. I got to school and everything I was still good. But then lunch rolled around and everybody was eating their taco bell's, chicken, hoagies..etc and I'm just sitting there drinking my water with crystal light... Im like OMG, am I gonna make it through the day? So finally my school day was over..I made it!!! yayyyy!!! But of course I had to go home and I was bored and hungry.. lol.... so I tried going to sleep, but it didnt work. So I got the urge to eat the rest of my crackers that I had in the frig... Ohh I felt so much better.. I know that I wasnt suppose to eat them, but this shit is overwhelming... Today though, Imma do better. I woke up with a headache, which I kind of figured that I was. When I got to work, I took a car and went to walmart and got my Centrums and I felt better like instantly. But just keep me in ya'll prayers. I have 9 days to go for this diet and until surgery... Damn time is going by fast.

WoWWWW!!

Whats good yall? I havent updated this jawn in a min... But whats new? I went my pre-admissions thingy on monday (feb 25th). Everything went good... I found out that I lost 17 pounds. I was like wowwwwww. The only thing I was doing was eating yogurt and drinking water. Then I found out that I don't have to pay anything out of pocket for the surgery. When the lady told me that, I just wanted to bust out and do the wu-tang(a philly dance).. but i know my mom was happier than me, because she would be the one to be paying...lol. I had all of my x-ray's, ultrasound, and bloodwork done, which everything was normal. I saw the nutritionist, she was very nice. I start my liquid diet 10 days before the surgery.. so ill be starting on march 7th. Please pray for me yall, because i dont know how imma get through it. I hope it's not hard as it seems. But im really excitied and cant wait to have this done and be on the loser side.... im about to go do something productive though, so ill holla at yall on the flip. Peace!!

I HAVE A DATE!!!

OH YEAHHH... Finally got a date, March 17th which is the beginning of my SPRING BREAK!!!. I'm going to start my diet as soon as i get back up to school on the 13th. I'm kinda nervous and was having second thoughts, but my BESTFRIEND "TAKE a.k.a KEMA" said don't worry about

. I just can't wait though!! I'm ready to be on the losers side.... well im outty 5000...ill keep ya'll updated!!
