G, Have the Greatest Ever on the 19th!! It’s good to see more guys out here on Obesity Help. We make up a small minority of the people having Weight Loss Surgery, but tend to lose down quicker and with fewer hassles than the women due to Male Physiology. Drop by the "Men's Message Board" at- http://www.obesityhe lp.com/forums/men/ -to see how other Guys are doing with their surgeries. A lot of info and advice specifically tailored to Men. I’m just dropping by to let you know that there’s a huge crowd of strangers out here pulling for you and holding you in our prayers. Damn that's SALTY!!!
So I get a call from an Ohio number and I automatically knew who it was. It was the lady from Barix Clincs...I thought she was calling me to tell when I had to be there for surgery. Of course I was wrong, but she was like I have some bad news for you. "Dr. Boe is out due to a medical emergency and won't be back for a couple of weeks." I'm ahhh wow, okay. So she asked me when I could have it done, and the earliest I can have done is May 5th because school ends on May 2nd. But I would have to do the pre-op again which is 2 weeks before the surgery. I can't miss another day of school again, so now surgery is May 19th a couple days after graduation and the pre-op is May 5th. Who knows though, if I keep losing weight like this I might not need it. In total I lost 24 pounds....So who knows.. Ah well things happens for a reason. Maybe it's a sign, we shall find out!!

Trust me I understand your frustrations but as you stated everthing happens for a reason and you scheduled for sugery the day after my b-day! Congrats on the 24 pounds lost! Good Luck with everything!

Dang, that kinda sucks. Like you said though, you lost the weight on your own, and that's wussup. So just imagine how good you'll do after surgery. You really don't look that bad in your pics neither. If you get the surgery, I know you'll do great man. Keep it up.
