I am 29 years old, married with two kids ages 10 and 6. They are the joy of my life. I am hoping for WLS to improve my quality of life and be more happy. I have been "fat" as long as I can remember. I have received my packet from DePaul weightloss center and am hoping to soon get it turned in to start my process. My Story October 18,2007 Whooo been awhile since I have updated. My surgery is just 5 short days away. I think I have everything ready for when I come home. I am just ready....I love OH and all my friends I have met on here. Everyone is so wonderful and the support that comes from here is just phenomenal.......love it, love it, love it. And to know that at some point we are all in the same shoes so not to have the shame and being able to open up is just great...Thanks to all. Wow how easy it is to forget about your profile. I am in the process of getting approval. Paperwork was turned in on 5/18/07 and am currently waiting for an answer. I abosolutely love this message board it is by far the most informative!!!! Hopefully will actually have something to update soon. July 1, 2007 Well I am still battling it out with my insurance trying to keep my head up and stay postive. Everyone on this forum has been wonderful and are great for moral.......... July 25,2007 Soooo excited. I was approved on 7/20 now I am just waiting for my surgeons office to get the approval letter so that they can schedule my surgery. This site has been the best. I love being able to talk to people who have experienced it rather than just reading and article. Everyone here ROCKS August 29,2007 Wow how time can move so fast. I have my all day class in Columbia on 9/12 YEAHHHH 2 weeks from today. I am so ready. NOt sure what to expect. But defintily ready. And I will get MY DATE then too......YIPPPEEEEE |
