Surgeon Testimonial Robert Marvin, M.D. Dr. Marvin is great! I met him on my 37th birthday...one week before my sugery. He answered all questions that I had before I had a chance to ask them. I felt that he was very thourough during the visit and after my surgery...well, I think he is the SURGEON CHAMP!!! Trying to use OH to the best of my ability
5/29/07 - This is my first time to blog on here...I am going through the 6 month medically supervised diet right now...it is a little frustrating having to wait to long...it seems as if I have been waiting forever! I initially started this process over 18 months ago when my previous employers insurance told me the surgery would be covered with no problem and then when Dr. Marvin's office submitted for approval I was denyed b/c of an exclusion on our policy. I now have BC/BS of Illinois and I was told by Dr. Marvin's office that it is really hard to get approval from them but from other profiles I have visited, they didn't have any problems so cross your fingers. Next week is my 3 month visit with the dietician and weigh-in. I am hoping to have lost at least 2-3 lbs. This is so hard to do! I want to have the surgery so that I have the tool to help me control my eating and become a much healthier person...so this whole diet thing is very stressful!
