I am Maintaining, The scale is staying at 170 pounds.

I haven't lost any more weight when standing on the scale. But I am still loosing inches. I am now down to a size 10 from a size 24/4X.

I have increased my exercise. With walking more, and have joined a soccer team which I think will continue to help me as I am on my journey.

Almost at six months post RNY

I am down to 170 pounds. I continue to loose inches. I am really liking that I am toning up. I have decided that I would like to get down to 150. So that's about twenty more pounds.

I have to say that I am so excited and happy that I made my decision to have RNY. Back in July. Life has changed. It has been so nice to feel allot healthier. I have lost over 100 pounds at my highest weight. So far since surgery I have lost 269 and now I am 178 pounds. The only down size is trying to buy new clothes. I still find myself always going to the plus size. I am down to size 12 dress pants. I am down to a Large for most of my tops.

I want to thank everyone for the opportunity to assist me along my journey. I know that I still have along way to go.
I hope that I can be a support to you.

I am 2 1/2  weeks post surgery.
I am feeling great.
Happy to say that my hair isn't falling out more than usual.
So excited that I could start eating new foods.
As I felt pretty limited for the first two weeks.
I had made an egg, but couldn't even eat a quarter.
But it was nice.
I have felt my clothes and bra's are being looser.
Down from a 3X to a 1X for tops. I am still wearing sixe 2X and 1X as I don't want to buy to much new stuff.

I went at met with surgeon. Everything went well. And I was given my date. I have surgery booked for July 4th. When I was given the date it seemed so long away. Actually it's only a month away. So happy and excited.
Can't wait to get my  RNY surgery.
More planning and preparation is still required.
Just wanted to keep you updated.

Thinking of My future.

I am so excited about the future of having RNY surgery in my life. Meet with the surgeon in May. Can't wait to get my surgery date. Anticipating a life where I am able to play better with my children, be able to play sports, not get winded when doing activities. I can't remember being a healthy weight.

I would like to bike again. With being over weight. I have broke two bikes, so embarrassing.

Regarding Surgery: I have only told a few people. Happy to have my support team aware of my needs, and support required.

As you are aware I am getting prepared for life after surgery.

These are a few of the changes I have made in my life...

I leave my bank card at home. This limits the opportunity to eat out.
Only carry a few dollars with me. Not enough for take out.

I bring my lunch to work daily. Packing healthier options

I have extra health food  options at work.

I am looking forward to meeting with the surgeon.

Made arrangements for child care.

Bought foods that I can eat after surgery. As I know that I won't feel like going shopping. I don't like to rely on other people for items that I should have been prepared for in advance.

Decided that I am not going to share with everyone about my upcoming surgery. I have a wonderful support group.
I look forward to living every moment. A few people are aware!

I felt that when I got the date to meet with the surgeon. I had won the lottery. One step closer to being healthy!

I have an apt with the Surgeon in MAY.....
I am having the Roux-en-Y. Gastric Bypass surgery. Don't know the date yet, but know that it is coming.
