Surgeon Testimonial

Rita Anderson
Dr. Rita is so sweet. Great bedside manor.
I trusted her the moment she shook my hand in our pre-op meeting. At my 2 week check up she came in the rom and hugged me, I sure had no other Dr. ever do that before.

A WEIGH I GO
on May 18, 2007 8:09 am
This is my journey into thinness and finally be healthy. I began my weightloss adventure "again" in late Jan. 07 living on about 300 calories a day, WHICH WAS JUST 5 SHAKES A DAY OR LESS. Until the day of my surgery on 3-7-07 I had lost about 20lbs. Last year by Memorial Day I was at my highest weight ever!! I was so sad and misrable but always trying to keep up a good front. So much medicine had bloated me up and then with having a daycare I was a stress eater.  I fought for 2 years to have this gastric bypass surgery and by Dec. had given up hope and well just gave up. I felt I was doomed to be this size and suffer the pain it was causing me everyday. 2nd. week of Feb. I got a call from the surgern's office saying I was at last approved. I broke down and cried and the wonderful angel on the other end cried with me. She fought for almost 7 hours on the phone with the insurance co. and they gave in. 3 weeks later I'm on my way into the operating room., course with a total meltdown in the pre-op!!   Now I'm on my way to a new me and and less pills!! LOL
Right away I'm off my insulin tablets!!! YEAH!!!
So I'm going to share my journey . So many know what I have went through to get here and so I want to show you my progress.
