My Story

Well lets see I am 25 and have been overweight for a Long time. I have a awesome boyfriend named Travis and we have been together for 8 years now. The PROBLEM is that we haven't been able to get pregnant. I was diagnosed with PCOS and was taking Metformin to try to get pregnant. After starting metformin we decided that surgery would be a good option before having children!!! Since I am overweight now we thought "what would it do to me if I got pregnant" I am borderline diabetic and have high blood pressure already. So after deciding to have the surgery I did all my insurance requirements and I now have my surgery date But I have to say I am a little scared. I don't think I should be just because my mother went threw it and didn't have any problems and now she looks great!!!! I am sooo excited to have this done and be able to have children and be able to keep up with them. So that's my story and I will keep posting as time goes by....
