Wednesday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I am waiting for you on the losers' bench! ~JudyAnne~

UPDATE
on July 13, 2008 3:05 pm

Just updating my profile. I am doing very well. My band is working for me. I have my difficult days, struggles, as anyone else but for the most part I am feeling FANTABULOUS !!!!! I have had just one fill (tightening) of my band. Since my surgery on 2/13/08, I have lost 56 lbs. My grand total weight loss is 148 lbs total. I am now in a straight size 22 jeans. That is so amazing. It's taking much longer for my head to catch up with my body, if that makes sense. When I was at the grocery store recently, I saw my reflection on the glass doors in the store and I barely recognized myself. It was emotional for me to see someone I didn't recognize because my brain still associates with a size 6x-7x. I am not the same person I was a year ago this time both physically and especially emotionally. I am still a work in progress, and I have a long way to go (100 more lbs to lose to be @ goal.) But I am finally seeing and feeling how far I have come. I am so grateful for a healthier life. I am off my sleep apnea machine FOR GOOD; I am no longer taking high blood pressure meds, no cholesterol meds, no diabetes meds. My issue now is STAYING MOTIVATED. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated !!!  Hope all my OH buddies are doing well. I wish all of you the very healthiest and happiest life you deserve !!!!!!!

Hugs,

Doirinne
