Surgeon Testimonial

Phillip Hornbostel, M.D.
Dr. Hornbostel is amazing, he is very detail oriented and has an open door policy. He gives you his personal cell in case you have any issues after office hours and never makes you feel like you have a stupid question.rnMost of his office staff is wonderful, Ask for Margie, she is his right hand and his wife.rnThe only disapointment I had was, I had a gallstone before the surgery and he does not remove the gallbladder with the RNY. rnSo that is another surgery I have to look forward to. He just prefers to stay on the side of caution and do one procedure at a time.

10 months!!!
on November 16, 2008 7:04 pm
Hubby is home, he hasn't said anything about my weight loss. I think he is in shock. He has only been home for a weeks so we'll see how that goes.

I am still at goal weight. I have been exploring with new foods. Finding what I like and what I don't. Been surprising.
Halloween I fell off the wagon a bit, and I found that people aren't exagerating when they say carbs are addictive.  I made the mistake of sampling the kids candy and now I find myself craving it.

I wish I never tried. Now I know it didn't make me sick, I have to really watch myself. I didn't do all this to just fall back into my old bad habits.
I take one day at a time and remind myself that I made it this far and going back is not an option!

Thanks for reading. I hope this helps others in simular situations.
Tracy
