2 mos post-op from BOB
Aug 26, 2011
I'm 2 mos post-op. I'm feeling good, no issues. I had my 2nd fill 2 wks ago (an additional 1cc) and I am now at 5cc. Have to tell you, don't feel any different from 4 to 5. But, it is what it is. I am at 217lbs. Down just about 30lbs, minus a few ounces.
I am an event planner and had my biggest event of the year last weekend in NYC. Not that that chaos is over, I can get my life back to schedule with the gym 3-4 days a week. Additionally, my part-time consulting gig with Dress for Success ends this Saturday so, I am looking forward to getting my life back and having a little fun. Looking to start dating again as I am getting some confidence back. I also cleaned out my closet 3 wks ago and will be taking a full bag of 14/16 and other nice clothes to the ladies of Dress for Success tomorrow. I hope they enjoy them.

9 year anniversary from RNY
Aug 15, 2011
Today was my 9 yr anniversary from my Gastric Bypass. The past few yrs haven't been anything to celebrate bc my weight has been up. While I don't recall my weight on 8/15 in 2010, 2009 or 2008, I know it wasn't as optimistic as I am now.
So, what did I get for my RNY-versary? A 2nd fill in my band. Another 1CC, now up to 5CC.

9yrs post-op RNY, 7 wks BOB - Craving sweets
Aug 11, 2011
9 years ago Monday I had my Gastric Bypass and 7 weeks ago I was Banded (BOB). I am down like 30lbs and feel restriction again for the 1st time in 3-4yrs. I still have a ways to go [305 in 2002, 175 in 2003, 246 before BOB and now 220ish] but I am loving love again. I get my 2nd fill on Monday and hoping it helps kick my plateau. I just started exercising again (i.e. doing more than walking as I walk a ton anyway living in Manhattan). But, let me tell you something…I AM CRAVING SWEETS. All I do is eat protein, salads, veggiess, more protein. No shakes (yuck). I am getting 80+ g of protein a day and I am happy to report, my hair never looked better. But, I need something sweet. I think something small, delicious, an amuse bush (as they would say on Top Chef) that is about 100-200 calories. Any recommendations? I’m also craving some Naan bread but I don’t even DARE.

Holding at 220lbs (26lbs down)
Aug 07, 2011
Not much has changed as of late. I am looking forward to my fill on the 19th. I know I am not yet at my 'sweet' spot. I cannot eat a lot and it does change day to day and time of day. I am happy with the loss so far and I know I would be down more if I exercised more. I am so busy with work that I just cannot find the time. I decided to lock out 8-10AM on my work calendar everyday as busy (since I work from home) to force myself to go. I went 2X each the past 2 wks, my goals is 304 this week and then once I am going a full mornth 4X/wk, I am going to get a trainer. I've already spoken to someone at NYSC but I need to get the consistency first.
