    Monday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. In short, I have fought my weight my entire life. I spent far to much time trying the latest diet. About 2 years ago I decided to just get and eat healthy. So I started slow. I so water aerobics  5 days a week now, and eat right. But the weight has not come off easy (I have lost 40 lbs).  

So with the blessing of my doctor (which was a long road through my insurance) I have finished classes and labs etc, now just waiting for a consult and then surgery. I have made a lot of changes along the way for the good. I know I am finally ready!

Surgery Consult Scheduled for Feb 20 FINALLY
on February 8, 2008 3:03 pm
Well, the Doc's office called today to schedule my consult with the Doc, internal medicine doc and head doc! I am so excited. Hopefully that day I will get a surgery date. I almost feel a short timer!

I will be on my way to the Daytona 500 next week so time will fly by. I am so excited about that tooooo..

Well everyone have a wonderful weekend! Thanks for all the posts I have been reading. They have helped alot.

Wait is getting shorter I think

I just finished (Jan 23) my 6 months of classes, my PCP has signed it off and now I am waiting for Kaiser to issue the authorization. Then I hope to get the call for a consult! It seems like time is going so slow. But considering how long I have waited.... it will be short I think

My Story

I have been married to a very loving and patient man for 23 years on Feb 14 this year. He married me fat and loves me fat. But will love me thin as well. 

I have 3 sons, all grown and 4 granddaughters and a grandson! 

We have two dogs, Rottie and a chow. We also have two very spoiled felines that rule the house!
