So... here I am. I have finally made a decision to change my life. To finally give to myself rather than everyone around me. To love me the most for once. To take a step (rather leap) towards a fuller life (and future) for me and my family. (Should I ever have one of my own!)

Like most of you, I have been heavy my entire life.. I have learned to live with my weight, to be the girl with the large belly and larger than life personality but I have suffered in silence living in shame of my body as well as my health.

I have decided to have the Gastric Sleeve surgery on Thanksgiving day 2006. I do not have as much to loose as some, but I have just as much to gain! :)
