Surgeon Testimonial David Kam, M.D. Dr. Kam performed my VSG on 1/23/12. From the moment I saw him on the day of surgery, I knew I couldn't have been in better hands. Due to scheduling conflicts, I didn't see him after surgery but saw his intern that afternoon, and Dr. Kam came by in the morning both days I was in the hospital. I have been very impressed with his intelligence, candor and bedside manner. He is a positive person who will give you all the information available and assist you in processing it. I live quite a distance from his office and he has gone above and beyond to work with me and my PCP so that I don't have to make as many trips to Traverse City as the normal patient would. The office staff at Grand Traverse Surgery is wonderful to work with, from the beginning with insurance all the way through to post-op and nutrition counseling.
