Can now eat solid foods.
on May 2, 2012 11:17 am

Been cleared to resume normal diet minus the breads, rice, and pasta, which I dont have much of appetite for these days. This makes eaing a whole lot stressful.

I haven't been getting my protein in at all, and now I can truly see the benefits of supplementation. I'm  weaker, colder, and over all I have no strength and not to mention I have a terrible cold :(  So I went ahead and ordered the Nectar sample packs from this website and tomorrow I will go to Vitamin Shoppe and see if the carry Isopure RTD protein. Tomorrow is my second follow up visit with my surgeon and I'm afraid to even get on the scale. I'm not eating enough etc. I'm sure I'm not losing the amount of weight I'm suppose to. *sigh* I'm so frustrated with myself.  Too much shit is going on right now and instead of taking care of myself I'm worry about BS. Turning a new leaf this week. I have to do this.  I CANNOT FAIL!

Getting back to normal.
on March 19, 2012 4:54 pm
I went back to work today.  Tomorrow it will be 2 weeks since I was sleeved. I feel good.  A lot of stuff going on in my life is somewhat affecting my recovery and how I use food as comfort so I'm making a ton of changes to improve my life condition. I'm just so paraniod that I'm not going to do well with this tool, but I need to be patient and follow the plan.

My Story

I'm a 28 y/o fun, loving and free spirited gal, living in VA, soon to be divorced, but have a great relatioship with my estranged husband, I don't have many people supporting me on this journey, but thats ok. I'm worrying about me and me only. Looking forward to making freinds with the great people on this site. Your stories are inspriing. I'm some what active now, working out 2 days a week an doing the a modified lean version of P90x. I'm hoping to go from 272lbs to 135 so I can be in the best possible shape ever. I can't wait to be on that awesome losers bench!!

Two more MSWL appts and I can submit all  of the neccessary things to United Health. I've already had my sleep study, psych eval, EGD ( i am currenttly being treated for gastritis so I need that to clear up before Feb) done.  I plan on having the sleeve and I am ready to get this done so my life can move forward.
