Goals
Surgeon Testimonial Ravindra Mailapur (COE) My first impression of Dr. Mailapur is that he cares about his patients & gives a very informative seminar. I liked the fact that he stayed around after the seminar to meet with you (if you wanted) & answer anymore questions that you might have. On my first visit he answered more questions & he did not seem to mind at all. I did not feel like he was rushing with me to get to the next patient. He told me all appt. I would have to have with different DR. & about all test & that this is a life change not a just a diet. When he was finished with his talk he ask me once again did I have anymore questions. I felt that he was very interested in what I was asking & that all my questions were important.HIS office staff is very nice & helpful, I would always talk to Jessica she is/always very nice about my questions(I have been full of them). As I started getting closer to giving everything to my insurance she has made sure all paper work has been in order. So I'm sure that is why I received a date within a few days of them getting my papers. So far I would recommened Dr. Mailapur & his office staff to anyone. I think that surgical competence is by far more important than bedside manner, but a a great bedside manner is always a big plus, & Dr. Mailapur has a great bedside manner. I had my surgery on 7-12-2010, I met Dr. Mailapur in the hall before I got a room & he still wanted to know if I had more questions & that he would take good care of me, because I was a bit nervious. He then give me a big hug & told me I would be fine. I have also been to my follow up visit he was just as informative as he was the first time I met him. He told me he had given me the tool now it was up to me to use it to my advantage. He told me things I could & could not eat. At the end of my visit he said if I had questions to just call(& I have) Then gave me a big hug , he then shook hands with my husband said I was doing great & we were on our way. I would tell anyone that Dr. Mailapur is the Dr./surgeon to go to I have had no problems & I'm doing great. I know I picked the best Dr. in my area to go to & I'm very happy I found him. There is nothing negative to say about Dr. Mailapur or his staff, they are all wonderful. Member Interests

as of TODAY " !!!!! I'm so happy. I bought a sz. 6 today, but I think it was the pants because I also bought a sz. 8 but I'm still happy. I'm in a med. shirt ,haven't been in that sz. for a very long time. I go for my 6 mth. check with my surgeon on Jan. 27, 2011 I have to go get blood work from my family Dr. on Jan. 4th. I have to have it done 2 wks. before going to surgeon, I thought he would do it but I was wrong glad I found out yesterday when I called to make sure what date my appt. is on. Any-who, I have 16 lbs. to go I still need to exercise alot more, my legs & boobs are sooooo flabby I look like I'm melting....LOL But I rather be melting than fat unhealthily & dying. I'm so very happy I had this surgery, I'm proud of "ME"
& so is my family (hubby, & son). I'll talk later, it's way past my beauty rest time.. LOL goodnight/morning. 
my sister made me a sugar free chocolate cake , I had a small piece it was really good . I spent half the day at home w/ hubby, son, & grandson, the other half w/ hubby doing Christmas shopping. I also did some for myself it's so nice to get cute clothes now, before surgery I just wanted long big shirts hoping to cover everything up. I still have about 20 lbs. to lose I'm wearing a size 10 pants & a M-L shirt. Hubby got me a really pretty "RED" coat for B-day before there was no way I wanted to wear red I felt like it made me stand out in the crowd or would draw to much attention to me but I love the coat & color. I think it looks really good on me ...LOL I'll post pictures later. We went to a Christmas party on Sat. it was my hubby side of the family, there were several people coming over to me to say how good I looked & how I did it, how do you get out of telling you had surgery ? I think from now on I will say "the hubby won't let me eat"... LOL I feel self conscious about my flab under my chin it's a little saggy will it shrink a little or just keep hanging there until I have plastic surgery ? I hope everyone in "OH" land has a very Merry & Safe Christmas & that you get what you want from Santa.... Talk later 
. Then Friday shopping, nails done , & grocery shopping, on Sat Christmas party I have to make potato salad, I hope they have food I can eat. Sunday will be finish up shopping & Mon. birthday, I want a quite day away from home probably more shopping hopefully for me... LOL (my son & grandson live with us which I love but I need a little peace & quite). Sorry it's such a long blog but I felt like talking... LOL. Goodnight!!!
