I am finally starting to feel normal again...back to the old Aimee...boyfriend gone..yay me...and down 28lbs. Life is good!

2nd stage done

SO..I am home with the complete DS done. The surgery went well even tho the Dr decided to do a couple of unexpected procedures....he removed my appendix and fixed the hiatal hernia that has been causing me such grief for the past couple of years. I will have to have it scoped and biopsied every 6 months to make sure that I don't develope cancerous cells on my esophogus...yikes...scary to think of that...I will have to take Prilosec for the rest of life now on a daily basis.
I am a bit sore today...as I have been up riding in the car and sitting on the couch. I am hoping that in a few days...that I will be back to somewhat normal... I have my recheck appt on July 11...hoping to get released back to work...
So for now...it is sip sip sip...walk walk walk...sip sip sip...my daily goals for the next couple weeks.

Having DS on June 25th

Well, I am having the 2nd part to complete the DS. I am looking forward to finally losing rest of my excess weight. 2 weeks of pre-op food to get me into the weight loss mode...woohoo...lol

4.5 year check up

Well, I think I am back with a vengance. I have gained about 45lbs from my lowest weight. I have decided to start the process of having the DS. I still have 80 pounds to get to my ideal body weight.

The phy. assistant yesturday at the doctor was asking me all sorts of questions making sure that I am for sure moving forward. I am actually excited about having the surgery done...besides the stinky gas...lol....but...I am pretty sure I can handle it...

I go back on April 13th for Dr. Foote's consultation in hopes of having the surgery pre summer time...

Dec 7, 09...Lost 11 pounds again

Well i seem to be back on track again...I have lost 11 pounds in the past 3 weeks. I have not been going out to eat and have been really watching what I am eating. I am trying to stay under 1200 calories a day...but some days seem harder than others.

I am going to try adding a protein shake in a day to help with cutting fat out of one of my meals or snacks. I have been eating quite a bit lately it seems.....

So for now, I am doing fine...only 19 to go till I hit 165...my ultimate goal weight!
