WOW I AM IN WONDERLAND......... this feels incredible!!  Almost at my 5 month mark and I have lost 83 lbs.  I feel great, I have more energy, and able to do a lot of things I couldn't for a long long long time.

Life is good in the confidence department, now I have to work on the rest

 

 

I am finally at the solid food stage and I feel great!! So far so good, I have not had ANY problems with any foods that I have tried and I have tried to introduce a lot of different things.
I am feeling great and now I have to try and understand how and why my loved ones are treating me diffently, this is going to be a challenge.  My whole family has not supported my decision for the operation from day one and most of them have come around to accepting the fact that it has happened, but it still has forever changed our family dynamic.  Be prepared that this journey is not just about quality of life, loving yourself, being healthy, it is a big emotional ride, and a true test to know who is really important in your life.  I have never realized how much I would just "take/accept/look over" before all of this.  This journey is for sure going to make me a stronger person :)

The surgery was a success

I have had a lot of nausea that lasted almost the whole week!!  But honestly that's the only thing I have to complain about, of course there is pain but that was a given.  It is now 7 days since the surgery and I feel great, I am working hard at getting all my vitamins and protein supplements in (I never thought that could be a challenge).
I am feeling like I will have a problem free recovery

Well Optifast is finally done and over with!!!! Thank God
Tomorrow at 2:30 is my surgery and I am super excited but also nervous, I think I will have a good night sleep however tomorrow might be a bit emotional.  Here's to a speedy recovery!!!

Week one of Optifast is complete and I am still alive  I have also lost 11 lbs!!!!  The results are the main thing keeping me going!! Here's to week 2...
