January Goal
on January 14, 2011 7:32 am

5lb  total loss for the month of January
No bread for the rest of the month beginning 01/14/2011
Workout with the Wii or other home workout activities (DVDs, etc.) at least 3x per week
Go to the Gym at least 2x per week
Get my 60,60,60.....60g of protein, 60oz of water, 60min of some type of workout activities.

Go! Go! You can do it!

Hey all.  In the past I haven't made myself accountable for my actions while traveling on this weight loss journey....sooo I've decided to do accountability post labeling them "AP" and whatever the day is, posting one every week.  I'm putting the good, the bad, and the ugly so that when I look back over my journey I can appreciate what it took for me to get to my goals.  Don't know if it will work, but hey it's worth a try.  Hope everyone New Year's kicked off with a bang, now lets keep the momentum for at least six more months.

2011 Here I come!

Happy New Years and blessings to all.  As I continue on this journey, watching and being inspired by you all, I can feel me getting closer to reaching my goals.  This year 2011 has been the year I've been waiting for my entire adulthood.  This year I will reach my ultimate weight loss goal, this year I will enjoy amusement parks, this year I will be a little more outgoing and adventurous, this year I will enjoy being me!
I don't do resolutions and it's hard for me to stick with goals, but if I say in my mind I'm gonna just do it...then that's actually what I just do!  Enjoy this awesome year and your wonderful journeys.

Not sure if you guys already know about it, but if you do here it goes again.  Found this really cool website I love that lets you track your calories and fitness activity daily.  You can punch in just about any type of food and it will give you the calories and all the nutritional break down.  It also tracks your fitness activity and lets you know your calories burned and so on.  I found it to be awesome not just because it's free (and lord knows I love free stuff), but I can also put it on my palm pixi and use it all day long.  Soooo if you don't have much else to do check out the site, and if you already use it let me know how you like it and how it works for you.

Just Venting

I just want to say that I am getting so sick and tired of my co-workers asking me every Monday morning "so how much have you lost so far?"  Every Monday it's the same question and it has become quit annoying.  First of all it was not my intention for the whole office to know that I had lap band surgery but some way some how they all found out.  Now I am in no-way embarrassed or ashamed of my band, but i do not have to deal with the weekly questioning before I can even get to my seat in the mornings.
It would be one thing if they sincerely wanted to know and was supportive, but these are just noisy ass folk who tend to be very negative and just really wanna know if it's working or was it worth me having surgery. 
I've always been such a sweet and understanding person, but I feel I'm about to show them a side of me they never wish they had seen.
