Tuesday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. 10 lbs in 9 days!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG!! I've lost 10 lbs in 9 days!!! I'm sure it's mostly water, but I can see it in my face already!! I know the weight loss will slow down as soon as I start eating "normal" foods... (sigh)
But the good start helps me be super motivated!!!

Congratulations! It sounds like you are having a much different experience than I am! I had the surgery on the 16th and have to stay on liquids for 2 weeks and then graduate to the foods you are eating for 2 weeks (creamed and mashed up food) and then real food on weeks 5 and 6. I've had really sharp pain where the port is until today. I hope i do as well as you are!
