George G. Zorn M.D.
I first saw Dr. Zorn at the Orientation Lecture. He was able to answer every question with confidence. He made me feel comfortable with my decision to have WLS. I was so elated to find he was to be my surgeon. He was so warm and caring at my consultation appointment. I especially liked that he knew a lot about how Kaiser worked. He is very warm and caring. I am not even scared at all. I have full confidence in Dr. Zorn.

    I talked with her last night and she sounded GREAT! Surgery was just fine. She was nauseated yesterday, but when they took her off morphine, that went away. She wasn't thrilled with the Heperan shots, which are given in the belly. As far as food, she eats a few ice chips and that's it--no hunger. One of the nurses told her it was like a baby learning to eat. I asked when she'd get to come home and she was told there is least a 3-day stay in the hospital. The hospital staff is great, although the more experienced nurses are nicer. She wasn't able to go to the daily class yesterday because of the nausea, but plans on going today.

    Huny9701 is at the hospital now. Please keep her in your prayers and Dr. Zorn as well. Her surgery is scheduled for 11:30.

OMG 1 year already

I can't believe it's been a year since my surgery.  I am so happy.
