Well, I got APPROVED, the case nusrse called this morning from Aetna she states you have been approved an you will be sending a letter in the mail in a couple of days. . I am approved, approved, approved.

Harassed Aetna on September 21, 2008 1:18 pm I statrted calling Aetna last Tuesday, i caled them everyday, only to be told on Thurday They did not ell all of y paperwork they started asking me questions and I had no idea what tehy were talking about, so the wonderful guy at Aetna put me on hold called Peachtree Bariatrics talkd surgeon coordinator got al the appropriate information, He then came back on line gave me a reference number and the case nurses name and stated that Peachtree would be faxing pver some additional information and hopefully I would have answer by Tues 9/23, but of course I called back on Friday just to make sure they recieved the paperwork and they did so ....WALLA here we go again waiting, waiting , waiting. One thing for sure Aetna definetly knows who I am.

I am going CRAZY!!!!!! on September 16, 2008 5:22 pm Last week the surgeons office states they did not recieve the 2 yr weight histoery, So I went to the PCP only to find out they can nt give it to me that I need to wait for a week because I need to fill out a special form, So, I went next door to the Urgent Car that I always go to they pulled my faile and gave a copy of the prgress notess with the weight for the last 3 years I then drove all the way downtown tot he Peachtree Bariatrics and put the papers in the coordinators hand, she told me that she would sent the packet over right away and that was bout 10am, I called Aetna this afternoon and they stat they have not recieved and paperwork as of yet, I will call again to Aetna in the AM, If they still dont have I will call Peachtree to confirm the packet has been submitted
Be the first to leave a comment.******************************************************************************************************* *********************************************************************************** Part II...... of the update well everyone tomorrow I will be the big 40yrs old, However lately like the last 3 mnths maybe longer I have been haveing these excrutiatig back pains...So this month the pain has been un berable now please keep in mind hat I have been HARRASING the orthapedic surgeon ....So she finally told me to please go and see the my GYNECOLOGIST and duess what I have fibroids and the want to do a HYSTERECTOMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So now what am I to do? Stay tuned
Waiting for a phone call and waiting and waiting
on September 1, 2008 2:15 pm Well I have officially faxed all the clearance lettrs to the surgeons office on 8/25. My PCP also states they faxed all lertters over on friday 8/23. but I faxed agin anyway then I also called to make sure they get the fax. I called 2 both times they said they got the fax. I talked with surgeon co-coordinator and she says they paperwork beeds to reviewd by surgeon, SoI have cntinued to wait bu yes on Mondat 9/2 I plan to cal the Peachtree Bariatrics and Aetna. ntil then talk 2 ya later.
