Hi. I'm from GA too. I live in Buford. I had my surgery a little over three years ago. I had AETNA too and want to pass a little info on to you about their approval process...or at least what it was three years ago. Don't be surprised or disappointed if you get denied. You can appeal! I was denied once for things like I had to participate in a six month medically supervised weight loss program, I had to have psych exam, etc. I did everything they asked of me and resubmitted. I was denied again. My doctor, Dr. Christopher Hart (very fantastic by the way!!!) called AETNA and told them that they (AETNA) was about to be sued because I had done everything they required. They told him they would call back in 15 minutes with an authorization code. A couple of weeks later I had my surgery and lost from 286 to 130. I just had the first of two plastic surgeries (Dr. Sheldon Lincenberg - also very fantastic) and feel great.

Apparently you have selected a Doctor. All I have to say about that is be sure to select the right one. I interviewed four surgeons before I selected Dr. Hart. I think people spend more time selecting a steak at Kroger than they spend selecting a surgeon.
