Onederland!
on December 1, 2011 5:17 am
It has been quite a few months since I last wrote in my blog.  Many things have changed.  I am now 152 + lbs less.  I am now in onederland!  I can fit into a size 11, and even some size 9 pants.

I got pregnant, and had a miscarriage.  But I'm, okay with that.  My grandmother passed away.  Again I am okay with that.  I had to have emergency surgery from hemorrhaging.  The following weekend I had to go back to the hospital from extreme pain, and I passed a kidney stone.  Now I just have to wait for the other one to pass. I didn't go back to my old habits with eating and being stupid.

I still managed to lose weight, and be okay with life.

My only regret is that I didn't do this surgery 20 years ago.  I can't believe how much of life I missed out on.

I am going to be 40 in 13 days.  I am so happy to do so.  I am looking at a new decade, with new challenges, like how am I going to pay for my plastic surgery that I so desperately need and want.

I am going to start training for a marathon once I have my energy back and I stop bleeding.

I am less than 30 pounds from my goal weight.  Once I get there, I will reevaluate my goal and see if I should lose some more.

I love my life.  I love my RNY!

Century Club - 5 months post op!
on July 8, 2011 6:30 am
Well I did it! I have hit the century club. I have lost 100lbs!  I did it on Canada Day.  So now I am down a total of 102.7 lbs, in just 5 short months.

I took my 3 youngest kids and went up north for the long weekend.  I was able to do things, that I would not have dreamed of doing last year at this time.

I actually jumped off a boat in the middle of a lake, and was able to climb up the ladder with no problem.  I couldn't pull myself up last year at this time.

I actually took my top off and just had on my bra and shorts before jumping in.  The old Traci is coming back!  Look out world.

I actually was able to wear a size 16 skirt from Old Navy yesterday.  *** HOLY COW***

I know I say this all the time, but thank you OHIP!

Look out forty here I come, a new and improved me!  Much better than the last 20 years.

I only lost 13.2lbs this past month.  But I am okay with that.  My measurements went down too.

Waist 55" to 42.5"
Neck 16.25" to 14"
Bicep 20" to 16"
Forearm 12" to 10"
Chest 55" to 37.5"
Hips 62" to 49.5"
Thigh 33" to 25"
Calf 18" to 16"

Slowly but surely.

I have lost 64.75" overall.  HOLY COW

Have a great July and see you in August for my 6 month check up!

4 months post op down 89.7 lbs
on June 8, 2011 6:01 am
Well today has been four months since surgery.  I can't believe how awesome I feel and look. The energy that I have.  The comments I am getting.  I still have 81 plus pounds to go to reach goal.  But I can do it!

Waist 55" to 44"
Neck 16.25" to 14.50"
Bicep 20" to 16.50"
Forearm 12" to 11"
Chest 55" to 39"
Hips 62" to 51"
Thigh 33" to 27"
Calf 18" to 16.50"

I have taken up running (well starting to run).

Thank you again OHIP for allowing me to regain my life and health.

This was the best decision I have ever made.  I will post picture later today.

Have a great sunny Wednesday!

80lbs gone for good!
on May 18, 2011 5:11 pm
Well it has been over 3 months since I had my surgery.  I love this tool.  I feel incredible.  I have so much more energy.  I am healthier, happier.... it is only going to get better.  I have actually bought a size 18 pant.  Holy cow.  To think at Christmas I was wearing 28 or a 30 sometimes.  Now only if my boobs would get smaller.  They sure are wrinkly.... I would recommend this surgery to anyone and everyone.  I am no longer hungry, I no longer think about food 24 / 7.  I am more interested in makeup and jewelry.  This year I am going to be turning 40... and man am I going to look good.

Waist 55" now 46"
Neck 16.25" now 14.5"
Bicep 20" now 16"
Forearm 12" now 11.50"
Chest 50" now 40"
Hip 62" now 53"
Thigh 33" now 27"
Calf 18" now 17"

Hello new me
on April 15, 2011 6:02 am
Well it has been almost a month is I blogged last.  Down another 14 lbs since the 19th of March.  The weight loss is slowing down a bit, but still way more than I have ever done before.  Feeling really good.  Starting to enjoy walking, getting a bike.  So hope to start moving every day with that.  Looking for a full time job.

Printed my before and current photos and have them in my purse.  Can't believe the difference in only 9 short weeks.  I look at my before picture and it looks like I ate a person.  I was bursting at the seams.  When I show people they say that I really didn't look like that.  So things are only going to get better.

Healthier, happier, fitter, sexier, I could keep going and going.

Happy Spring to everyone.  Soon 65lbs, then 70 then 75lbs.  Whoo Hoo.  So looking forward to this summer, with a new me.  Also have put in my req for a boob lift/reduction.  I have gone from a 48 G to a 40 DDD so far.  I would love to be a 38/36 D.  That would be so awesome.  I haven't done my measurements in a while, so I guess I will do them today and see what is what.

Well Since February 18, 2011, which was 10 days post op, I started doing measurements.  So my numbers are not a true reflection of how big I was, but it does give me an idea.

Waist 55" now 46"
Neck 16.25" now 15"
Bicep 20" now 18"
Forearm 12" now 11.50"
Chest 50" now 40"
Hip 62" now 53"
Thigh 33" now 27.5"
Calf 18" now 17"

I guess I need to start doing some serious leg and arm work outs to decrease those numbers some more.

I will have to check in another month and see how it is going.

So total inches lost in just under 2 months is 37.25.  Whoo Hoo and 64 lbs of blubber.
