Jeffrey Baker M.D.
I had surgery on 7/21/09 and I would recommend Dr. Baker to anyone! He has a very gentle bedside manner. He is VERY knowledgeable and can answer any question you throw at him with a thorough answer on the spot! His mild manner was appealing to me. He isn't one of those surgeons with a god complex or one who treats you as if he is doing you a HUGE favor by doing your surgery. He and his office are easy to get in contact with if needed post op. I had to page him to ask a question about one of my incisions and he called me back within half an hour. He didn't make me feel stupid for paging him for a simple answer to a simple question and in fact thanked me for calling him. I could seriously go on and on about how great he is but there isn't enough space for that....

Surgery is scheduled!

So I am super excited!  I haven't been able to update until now.  My meeting with Dr. Baker went great!  He scheduled me to have my surgery on July 21, 2009!  I will have to lose the weight by starting my liquid diet 10 days before surgery.  He was very happy with my choice in liquid diets also!  I am so dang nervous about this.  I hope that insurance approves me and my pre-op stuff comes out good.  I have alot going on on Monday.  Halle has her therapy then I go to my weigh in, then off to my PCP for my pre-op and PAP (my appt was origionally for this).  Tuesday is a girls trip......shopping, and drinking......MY LAST HURRAH!
