The nurse just slipped and told me that they saved a slot for me for December 19th.  Not long now!  WOOT WOOT

 It's a race!  An insurance race.  I started my journey in August 2011, and was happy to find out that Aetna only required a 4 month weightloss plan.  Two months into the plan I got word from my job, that, due to the Health Care Reform they would no longer be carrying HMOs, PPOs, and the like, and would now be offering Health Savings and Health Reimbursment plans. Which means large deductables, and the possiblity that weight loss surgery would not be covered.   So now I'm in a race to get this  done before January 1st.  My last medical weightloss doctor's visit is November 14, so as long as everything goes as planned I'm hoping to have surgery in December before everyone goes on vacation!  Say some prayers and wish some luck, i'll be doing both, and hopefully this will be an amazing 2012 gift to myself.
