10 days away.

I've been on my 2 week pre op diet now for about a week now and so far so good. I lost a total of 8lbs since my last options class on 2/16/12 and 5lbs since my surgeon consult 2/22/12. The first couple of days were tough but now its smooth sailing! I feel fantastic and its so great to know there is a light at the end of the tunnel (my surgery date) I've been exercising like crazy which also is so great and make me feel so good. My DR wants me to lose 10 lbs before my surgery so I'm half way there. 5lbs to go and I know I can do this!

Congrats on the weightloss! My Dr. Doesn't require a liquid diet prior to surgery but I've been trying to eat lite and workout too. I can't wait to get the surgery over with, the waiting is giving me anxiety...good luck with everything and keep me posted
