Today is 2 weeks post op. I have lost 21 lbs (a few lbs are from the liquid fast prior to surgery). I am starting to feel better-the first week home was a little hard!

Surgery date on June 25, 2008 12:45 pm Got a date....8/18/08.....yeah!!!!!!!

Be the first to leave a comment.My Story My name is Jackie and I just turned 40. I had gastric bypass surgery 10 yrs ago in Mobile, Alabama. Back then, they did not educate the patient about anything. Basically, I met the surgeon, had the surgery, then had ONE post-op visit to get my staples out. That was it! I knew nothing! I did lose about 80 lbs, then got pregnant with my second child within a year of my surgery. It was all down hill from there! Now 10 yrs later, I discover there is something called Revision Surgery. Now I feel I have been given a second chance to do this right!!!
