Dr. Torquati was VERY knowledgeable. He made me feel very at ease with the surgery, he was friendly, clear, and confident. I would HIGHLY recommend him. I have had no problems after surgery, and my scars are so tiny and light even I am amazed!!! The aftercare program at Vanderbilt is great, I also went to Vanderbilt for my 6 month diet pre-op and that program is just as amazing!!!

Jacqui, You are one amazing women!!! I remember looking at your pic's when you were 5 months out from surgery & I just came accross your page again today. You look so wonderful. I was at the beginning stages when I first came to your site & now I'm just waiting for my date. I'm from Nashville, but living in Biloxi, MS. Oh how much I miss home. Good luck in the rest of you journey.. What am I saying you don't need luck you are doing wonderful... :) april*

My Baby, Lilly
It's been a long time since I have posted, but I had my baby Lillian Arabella ( Lilly for short ) I am SO HAPPY she is here. Being a mother is more wonderful than I could have ever dreamed. It is also more tiring, but no matter how I feel I keep going and take care of her the best I can. She is three months old now, and we're still not sleeping through the night, she gets up every four to five hours ( on a good night ) and eats. I am blessed to be able to stay home with her full time, but even though I don't work outside the house, I'm still sooooooo tired!!! It has gotten so much better as the weeks go on, so I know I will be getting more rest soon!!!

As far as my weight goes I gained a total of 38 pounds during my pregnancy! That is way more than I wanted to gain but, it was worth it to have my baby healthy. I'm still working on getting back down to my goal. It was surely worth it though. My daughter is so beautiful & healthy, I would do it all again! 011.jpg picture by jacquithrush

I want you to know how beautiful both mom and baby are!! Jackie, you were my inspiration, you kept me pursuing a better goal for myself. Thank you so much for your insight and the jeans that you gave to me at a lunch bunch. I finally got into them, and you helped me see that I could get smaller than I almost settled for. You are doing great, you are awesome! And I miss you on the boards.
