Hello!!!

Hello! My name is Cathy. I am 28 years old and I am obese. I have been obese my whole life. I was diagnosed with Polycystic ovarian disease as a teenager and since then have had alot of health problems from it and have had a hard time trying to lose weight. I have a husband who has been amazing through this whole journey and I also have a two year old daughter who is my miracle (was told I couldn't have children).

I love food, I am a social eater, if I watch a movie I feel I need to eat while watching. I know that this is going to be a long and hard journey but I am ready. I am ready to be able to do more with my baby girl. I want to be healthier for her. I want to be able to sit in the floor and play with her without becoming short of breath or it hurting my back and making me uncomfortable.

I had the Vertical Sleeve Gastricectomy on January 11, 2012. I know it's going to be a huge journey and a huge change, but I know I can do it. I have amazing support from my husband, daughter, family, and friends.
