So I thought I would just drop a quick update. I think it may be fun to read back on these blogs a year from now and rehash what I was feeling and thinking going through all this.
So I am still taking the LEARN class. I have 5 more classes left.. Yay! I can't wait to be done and onto the surgery. I can't wait to make my appointments with the nutrionist, my pcm and prof Weiner. I already tried this week but the books aren't open yet for the NUT or my pcm.  I think i'm being a little impatient. lol.
I have lost 6 pounds so far in the LEARN class.  I am weighing 240 now which makes my bmi 44. I am still taking my blood pressure medication. I switched from HCTZ to lysinopril ( don't know if I spelled those right ) I am liking the lysinopril a lot better. I was having to pee all the time with the HCTZ which made it very hard to go out. It's not always easy to find a german bathroom.
I worry so much about not being approved. I know that I am on the lower side and that there are a lot of people who weigh a lot more then me. But I know that I have a co-morbidity and that I have a good chance.  I have been waiting so long and can't believe I am almost there. I'm starting to get excited.
