Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.
I have been in a constant battle with what I call "food addiction" my entire life. I truly enjoy eating. I come from a large, southern family and gatherings always meant lots and lots of food. I have dieted off and on and lost weight, but I've always put it all back on with a few extra pounds to boot. I had gotten to the point where I resigned myself to the fact that I was going to be overweight forever. I first started looking into WLS about a year ago, maybe this will help.

GOAL!!!

Seven and a half months and I'm at GOAL!  I can't belive that I'm even typing this, but it's TRUE!!!!  I got on the scale just today and it read 199.4!  I haven't been "1" anything in 20+ years.  Thank goodness for this surgery and for the doors that it has opened for me.  GOAL GOAL GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  GOAL GOAL GOAL GOAL GOAL GOAL GOAL GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOO-HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
