Weighed in the other day...I'm down 110 lbs, and am only 7 lbs away from my goal. I may adjust it when I get there, and try and lose 5 more lbs after that, but with working out, and my body type, I think I'll look ok. I'm way below what my surgeon's ...

My nurse came to see me today, and I've been officially released from Home Health care. I have just 2 wounds in the back, but one is pretty much closed, and the other one will be in the next day or so, so I can change my bandages myself.

Well, I am now down to just 2 wounds that need to be treated. I'm close to getting released from my home health nurse, to treat the wounds on my own. Should work out ok, but I'm a little nervous about doing that.

Feeling better and stronger each day. Overdid it ...

Went to my follow up appt with the wound care nurse who originally saw me on Sept 5th....the one who spent 3 hours with me, fixing all these open wounds. I've lost 20 lbs (10 lbs of it was fluid, and then 10 lbs of excess skin was taken off ...

NO MORE CANKLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dang, I'm just feeling so good these days. Yesterday, a nurse came out, and 1 wound is all healed up, so I have 6 left now. She was new to me, I had never had her before...I'm sure she got quite a kick out of me, as I would ask ...

I'm feeling better today. It's my birthday......pre-op I had planned on having such a great time, dancing, karaoke, you know, really celebrating. But, that has been postponed, and my great time will have to be with just my family and a couple friends over dinner.....no biggie really, I'm just glad ...
