Surgeon TestimonialGregory Walton, M.D.![\"Photobucket](\"http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f20/JaneWenk/smiley_010.gif\") Dr. Walton is WONDERFUL and my consulation with him was great! My husband and I had a LOT of questions and he answered every one! He does his surgery's at the Foundation of Bariatric Hospial of Oklahoma in Edmond, and his staff is Outstanding! One of the things I especially liked about this program, was the aftercare. He expects to be in contact with you for at least 2 years to give you the support you will need to be successful. I see the Dr. Walton EVERYTIME I have a follow-up appointment, not an assistant as I have seen other people complain about with their own surgeons. From what I have seen on this website, Weightwise may charge more than some of the others, but their fees include most everything for a full year, including Dr. visits, hospital (just finished building a new one in March 2006), psy, nut, excercise therapy, 1 year gym membership with them, and more. He also offers discounts if you later need some plastic surgery and go through his facility. January 10-2008
Well, I have gained 12 pounds and feel really disappointed in myself. I feel I have let everyone down, my family, the WL staff and myself.
OKAY...the that is the end of my pity party!
It is a new year and I had already planned on trying to loose the 30 pounds that I WANT, so I guess it will have to bd 42 pounds.
I am exercising better already, and eating better and will just continue to do the best I can.! AS of today, I have already lost 2 of the additional 12 pounds I gained! Yeah for me!

Things have been going great for me lately. About 3 weeks ago, I went to my pcp for what ended up to be a sinus infection. He noticed my weight gain (17 lbs according to his scale) and we talked about it. I told him I had been struggling with stress at work. I wasn't eating because I was hungry; I was eating because I was stressed. I was at a loss. I KNEW what I needed to do, but it was like I was having an out of body experience, watching me eat like I was. He suggested an appetite suppressant that he uses with patients that have had gastric by-pass. I was ready for anything at this point. Let me tell you, it worked GREAT. I felt so calm about eating. I didn’t feel out of control anymore. I felt great! I went back to see him on Thursday (this time I had the flu) and according to his scale, I lost 13 of the 17 lbs I had gained. He is giving me 1 more month and then after that I should be able to handle it on my own. This morning, I weighed myself and the scale said 188!!!! That is 2 lbs lower then my lowest I have lost since my surgery! I am so happy! Thanks you God for sending me this extra boost of help just when I needed it!

It's been a while since I have posted. I am doing well, but still struggling with that same 10 pounds. I have lost it a couple of times now.....  I have started back with the support meetings and I am hoping to get back on track. Work is very stressful now and I have discovered I am a stress eater. I will lean on my OH and Weightwise support group to help me out!
Also....my best friend Peggy is ready to have the surgery now. She has been talking about it for a few years, but is now ready. She met with Dr. Walton a couple of weeks ago and will have all her tests and appts on July 31st. We are both excited for her to start her weight loss journey!

My Story Hello, my name is Jane and I live in Oklahoma. I have been overweight most of my life. I have tried several diets, including losing 80 lbs once, but have never been able to keep the weight off. I have always known that to be able to lose weight and keep it off, I would have to have weight-loss surgery. Weight-loss Friendly Resturants
I thought I would start a list of Weightloss Friendly resturants around Moore, Norman and Oklahoma City. These resturants have let me order kids meals or will let pay less with my Medical Card. Now don't get me wrong, I don't mind paying full price for a meal and spliting it for 2 or 3 meals, but sometimes that is not feasable, especially if I am not going home right after I eat.
