Surgeon Testimonial

Gregory Walton, M.D.
\"PhotobucketDr. Walton is WONDERFUL and my consulation with him was great! My husband and I had a LOT of questions and he answered every one! He does his surgery's at the Foundation of Bariatric Hospial of Oklahoma in Edmond, and his staff is Outstanding! One of the things I especially liked about this program, was the aftercare. He expects to be in contact with you for at least 2 years to give you the support you will need to be successful. I see the Dr. Walton EVERYTIME I have a follow-up appointment, not an assistant as I have seen other people complain about with their own surgeons. From what I have seen on this website, Weightwise may charge more than some of the others, but their fees include most everything for a full year, including Dr. visits, hospital (just finished building a new one in March 2006), psy, nut, excercise therapy, 1 year gym membership with them, and more. He also offers discounts if you later need some plastic surgery and go through his facility. This is worth the extra money to me, as I have seen too many other people not able to see their Dr.s after surgery very easily! rn\"PhotobucketPlease visit WeightWise @ rnwww.weightwise.org for more information!rnrnrn

1-1-07-HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!  Wow, this surgery experience for me has been great!  I am happier then I have been in along time.  I made a New's Year's goal of getting back to a regular exercise routine and can't wait to get back on track with my exercise.

1-3-07-Had my 9-month check-up today, on my surgerversary day!  I saw Dr. Walton, Tara and Chris.  Everyone said I was doing great!  I talked to Chris about my "confession" and we talked about how I would avoid having that trouble again.

Here are my 9-month photos!
I am wearing size 16 Leather Pants and a Large Sweater!

1-16-07-Well...My family and I survived "Ice Storm 2007" this past weekend.  I felt we were well prepared with candles, batteries, food and water just in-case the power went out, but God blessed us and watched over us and kept us safe and warm during the storm.  I even got my husband to put my Gazelle together so I could do some exercise in the house, since we couldn't get out!

1-24-07-Survived the Ice Storm 2007-Part 2, actually, instead of 5-12" of snow that they were predicting, we got RAIN (which actually melted all the ice!  Kids went back to school on Monday after being off for all of last week.  I have been doing my exercises pretty well on the Gazelle, I am up to about 12 minutes long, and 25 minutes a day.  I really enjoy doing this, it is easy on my knees and I can watch tv while I do it!  I got on the scale this morning and I am now 194, I lost 5 pounds finally.  I had been up and down a couple of pounds for weeks now, mostly because of my snacking.  I am working hard to quick all the snacking I did during my Christmas vacation and being ice-bound last week.  It is hard, but I am willing to fight the fight!  AND....I am now OVERWEIGHT, not OBESE anymore!

1-31-07-It's the last day of the month, and suppose to snow today and tomorrow, although not very much.  I am still doing good on exercising, and plan to keep it up this time.  I had a couple of WOW moments last week I wanted to share.  The first one was from my PCP Dr. King.  I saw him last Friday and when he walked in the room he was like "WOW, I expected to see Jane and  your not her".  He was very pleased with how I was doing.  The other WOW moment was when I saw my in-laws later that night.  Both of them have been very supportive with my surgery and my Mother-in-law calls me "skinny" now.  My Father-in-law said I look different everytime he sees me and that I look great!
