I was very please with Dr Abkin on my first visit to explain the surgery process. He was very informative on what surgery he would recommend for me. I was also very please with the office staff in there pursuit of getting all the certifications needed for the insurance companies to approve the surgery. I am very please with Dr Abkin, he is a very nice and understanding and does ignore any questioned I have had before and after my surgery. I had heard from other people that he did not have a good bedside manner, but I did not find that to be true. I had more of a problem with a few of the nurses at Morristown Memorial Hospital,Especially the night shift which were not attentive to my needs. They would take an extremely long time to answer the help buzzer when used and some would ignore the IV Bags that needed to be changed. But Dr Abkin was a dream. As of to date I have lost over 50 lbs in less than 2 months. My last visit to see Dr Abkin was very exciting. He was extremely pleased with my progress and encouraged me to keep up the good work. I look forward to my next visit with him. I am extremely grateful to him for his excellent care and expertise. I would not have felt so comfortable with any other doctor. He made me feel very at ease during the whole surgery process. Dr Abkin is an Angel of God to be blessed with the knowledge and the delicate hands to help people in need. He gave me a new lease on life and I am truly thankful!!!! God Bless you Dr Abkin!!!!! I hope everyone has a great experience as I did.
