  • Books & Literature - Love to read, historical romance, trashy is what DH calls them.
  • Family & Friends - I love my husband so very much. I wish that I was number one in his life.
  • Animal Husbandry - Started to attend Auburn University to become a Vet, regret I didn't.
  • Birds - I have a African Grey parrot that is named Tease. She rules the roost.
  • Movies - DH and I love to go to movies. Was going weekly at one time.
  • Music - Love to listen to Celtic music, so mystical & soothing.
  • Star Trek - Love them all to my husband's dismay
  • Horses - I currently have 6. Loved them all my life.
  • Army - Old Army Brat. Loved the life of being in Europe as a teen.
  • Pick-Ups - I have a GMC and want a larger truck. Can't justify it tho.

    Monday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I've alive

It's the Saturday after surgery. I came thru great. DH said that I was so white & pale when they brought be back from the recovery room. But after spending two nights in the hospital, I came home on Wednesday. I have felt great. So much in fact, that I'm sleeping on my stomach, eating what the doctor has told me to, drank and done pretty much exactly what I've been told to do. I went shopping this morning to get out of the house. DH drove. But it was good to get out away from the house.  I have been to the barn and fed my horses, breathed in their smell and know that spring is on the way. Life is looking good.  DH is having his surgery on April 16th. I hope he has an easy time of it. So far everything has been good. I'm pleased.
