The program receives consistently high marks for its comprehensive program, which is facilitated by caring, extremely competent surgeons, and dedicated staff who work together as a TEAM! The multi-disciplinary approach for total care of the patient is at the heart of the program. Dr. Christopherson has provided me with only the best of care. April...almost Easter
on April 10, 2009 3:50 pm
I'm inching--no, I am ouncing my way to the category of "overweight".  Easter is almost here...and I have new life.  This past year has been a drop of 123 pounds...many sizes....and a whole lot of WOW moments.  I am 11 months out!  I am proud of what I have done and who I am becoming.  New life abounds.....

10 months
on March 13, 2009 8:25 am
10 month anniversary finds me within 8 pounds of the doctor's year anniversary goal.  I am feeling great about my progress and enjoying buying new clothes.  Some new colors and some new styles...yet some old style comfort clothing.  I am trying to venture out a bit.  Still trying to adjust to the misses department after all the years in the plus!

I am 21 pounds from my goal...but I may have to readjust it a little higher.  At my age I don't want to look too skinny.  Time will tell.

9 months post-op today
on February 11, 2009 8:09 pm
I am 9 months post-op today.  I am 3 weeks post-op from the incisional hernia repair.  a bump in the road...an infection, so I am back on the wound vac and antibiotics.  I am proud of my progress overall.  I am tired as I fight the infection and regain strength.  I am optimistic about meeting my year goal.  I miss the water aerobics class and going to the gym.  Currently all I can do is the treadmill...which I find boring and haven't been very faithful with my schedule.  I rejoice...I celebrate...I give thanks for all that I have accomplished.
