2 weeks post op
posted on 3/17/07 6:02 am

Hey friends,
2 weeks post op and feeling good nor weighing myself, altohough I find myself in the kitchen with old habits, although on two occasions I've picked up unhealthy foods like a nice crisp french fry and had it up to my mouth with my mouth open ready to eat it , then remembered what am I doing, on another occasion, there was desert for the children ,then I remembered it wasn't for me :-( . bad habits hard to break but doing well. I realized how eating was a hbit no necessarily hungry therefore I am very happy to have this tool which enable me to regain control even when tempted by the delicious smell of food.

I am getting the protein in became best friends with my new blender learned some things and staying healthy. everything on my stage two list basically goes into my blender. becoming very healthy. I am always drinking but not enough, slacked on the exercise committment to do better. moving allover the place experiencing a little fatigue lately.
no pain, no problems, good on vitamins and minerals. Have occasional emotional ups and downs thoughts and concerns. overall I am Happy.

i can feel the differencewith the weightloss how I stand, sit the way my clothes fit and feel, confidence is good .

Yeah!!! stage 3 diet begins tommorow no more babyfood!!! I mean blended food :-) can wait . I have learned to prepare and store food ahead. took the kids out  and realized there was nothing on the menu for me when everyone got hungry. came gome feeling a little weak then realized the importance og have meals planned and prepared. lesson well learned, this is taught in the nutrition class.
I feel goood about my decision to have the surgery and I am thankful for the chance to have a new beginning, and be healthier than I've been for a long time.
Just wanted to thank my OH friends for you prayers and support
I am hoping to catch the next support meeting in Modesto .
maybe I will meet some of you there.
((Hugs))
Jazzy
