  • Music - I love all types of music! From R&B,Soul, Rap, Rock, Country, etc
  • Shopping - I haven't been shopping since the weight gain, but I'm so looking forward to it.

Surgery date

So my surgery date was oct 14th, 2010! First one on the list! My appt time was @ 6:15am, surrounding me was my(mom,dad & my lil boy jason jr). Scared and nervous! But I had a non eventful surgery thanking my lord and savior! I'm so blessed! 
So, While I was admitted In the hospital I lost 7lbs. yayyyyyyy!!!! but the gas is a KILLER!!!! lol Pain level @ 1, just thankful to be home!(discharged date 10.16.10)

My Story

Hey, My name is Jasmine! But close family and friends go by "Jazzy" or "Jazzypooh"

I'm 25 years old going on 26 in November. I am fun, determined, strong, loyal & independent! "A go getter" is more like it. I been battling my weight since high school! Up,Down,Up,Down & i am so friggin tired of it! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! So let me break my life down to you. I graduated high school in 2003 and immediately started to work: where?!?! @ Burger king!!! You bet, home of the whoppers, lol. As a manager, I worked full time for  3 years! So you know that it's much more convenient to eat at work due to the fact it a fast food restaurant. So you get the nipping, pinching, snacking, then eventually having a full course meal. By then, it was too late to try to lose weight cause I found out in January of 2004 , that i will soon be expecting a baby! When I was pregnant I definitely watched my diet. The months started to go by and by April, I knew my baby girl would be here in the later month of October.  So October is here: but on Oct 1st of 2004 on a regular week by week check-up,I found out that my baby girl heartbeat stopped. Talking about heartbreak;( Losing my daughter hit me so strongly that i didn't even want to live. I fell into a depression and for the next 2 yrs, I gained over 100lbs. Leaving me @ 280 @ the age of 22. Horrible! so on my 23 birthday I made a promise to myself that I was going to lose the damn weight! I was so fed up over the baby, my clothes, going to amusement parks & not able to have fun on rides and just not feeling sexy for my man! I found a weight doctor that prescribed meal suppressant pills w/ B-12 shots and in 6 months I lost 86lbs! oh yeah! AND the fun begin! I was loving it & my man was loving it too much, and by December of 2008, I found out I was pregnant with my son and I gained all of my weight back plus some! ugh but the good thing about it, my beautiful healthy baby boy was born on Sept 11Th of 2009. So when i just couldn't get the baby weight off of me, I opted for weight-lost surgery! It was a year process but everything came Through and my surgery date is schedule for October 14Th, 2010 @ 6:15am.
