My Story I had surgery on April 24, 2007 after almost a year of preperation. Things are actually going really well at this point. I had some issues early on and a lot of incision pain the first couple of weeks but things seem to really be turning around now. I have a (normally) wonderful husband and two children. My son is 11 and my daughter is 9. They have all be very supportive of the surgery and the healthier eating we are doing. My husband and I spend most of our child-free time on the motorcycle. He is involved in a local club that does a lot of riding and local service work for various need based organizations in town. I am very excited to have found this site and hope to get to meet others who are going through this huge change in their lives. |
