Best Wishes for a successful surgery and smooth recovery! Weigh to go! I just read another post from someone who just had surgery and the thing that hurts the most is their BACK. And it is PAINFUL, not just uncomfortable. THE LAST THING YOU NEED TO TELL YOUR SURGEON, BEFORE THEY PUT YOU UNDER, IS TO PUT SOMETHING UNDER YOUR KNEES TO TAKE THE PRESSURE OFF YOUR BACK!!! Time and time again folks are coming out of the O.R. and their back is killing them. It’s because you are lying flat on your back for hours on a hard surface. How long can you do that now? If the surgeon will just put a rolled up blanket under your knees this problem will be eliminated! Got It?... Good…. Problem solved. (Or at least talk it over with him/her).

Hey Jennifer!!! Good luck on your special day!! My thoughts will be with you. It seems like I was just as scared as you are now, (my surgery was Nov 17th 2002) but now I feel great and very excited about my future! You will too! Your doctor is highly respected and will do a great job! Have faith, Karen Drennan PFAMOS Dr. Alexander 11/17/03 Pre-op 337 Today 309 Woo Hoo

Jennifer, It is getting close for us!! I am working on my masters so I am finishing up finals this week. It is helping to take my mind of surgery. I have my last final Thursday and surgery on Friday! I can't believe it is here. I was looking at your support page and it appears we have both been planning this for months. Are you ready?? Here we go! Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers. You will most definitly be in mine also! We are doing the right thing, I know it! God Bless and good luck!
